I will forever remember, Sep. 28 2009. for it was the day my Mere Mere, (grandmother. It's French ) died. She was 82 years old, and had a lot of health problems.
At the end, there was no pain, and I like to think she's in a better place, with family and friends. We have our memories of the good times, and even the bad. perhaps, someday, far, faraway from now, I will join her, where ever she may be now.
She was a big part of my life, and of my siblings as well. We are all taking it slowly, but bravely. I just hope I can be there for my family, for I feel they will need me more then ever, and I will be strong for them.
I had long since prepared for this, just in case, but the troth is, there is no preparing for it. It did not take me by surprise, and I simply took it as it came, but the pain is there, and I feel the loss, which weighs heavily on my soul.

I'm going to take a small break from drawing, although I'll still put the "flats" down for my brother's comic, "A Roll of the Dice", if my sister still draws it.

I will forever miss her, but my mourning will be short lived, for I know she would not want me to grieve forever.
