God, I hope no one hate's me for ruining the character, but this is the best I can do at the moment. I'm afraid to say that I'm not very good at drawing other peoples' characters, but did as well as I could, and I'm slightly pleased with the way this one turned out, especially considering the first couple pictures I drew of her.

Here the reference I used, [link]

I like her hair. XDD
Actually, it's not a bad picture, although I thought her knees were rather small and her feet are kinda weird--WHERE ARE HER TOES, MAN???

Toes? Hell no, I ain't drawing toes! Toes would've ruined the picture for sure!
Actually, this is already an outdated picture. *Leans close and whispers behind hand* Now don't tell anyone, especially "you know you", but I was considering redrawing it as a surprise. Shhh!

Ooh, that's a good idea! *whispers loudly back*

Well, if not toes, then you could've given her shoes or socks. XDD

Shoes are just as bad. Besides, I believe she was barefoot in the reference picture.

Actually, it looks pretty close to the reference you linked to :)

Yeah, well I try to get things looking similar to how the artist portrayed them, but sometimes it's hard. Especially if you happen to forget something. :)
Thanks. :)

I find this one very neat actually. She looks quite classy, you know. I don't know the character but I definitely like how you've captured her.
And, hm, her pose reminds me of Ancient Egypt gods pictures :)

I don't really know the character. *hostage-fiver Has a comic, but she's currently working on redesigning the characters, and then I think she plan's on redrawing the whole comic. So, I think there will be quite a few changes.
As for the pose, it was the one I had the least bit of trouble with. Like I said before, I drew her like five or six times, trying to find the right pose and expression. :)

Oh, I almost forgot. Thanks for the fave. :)

You've definitely captured an interesting attitude for her; this makes me wonder whether or not I underestimate Andraste as a force in the story, or whether I could take her character a step forward.
And a picture that makes me think about my character in more depth is a good one in my books!
Besides, Andy could always use more love :'D

Thanks very much
I promise you my half will be on the way soon, it's just a matter of me making a sketch I'm pleased with, it seems I can't draw anything these days without going through at least five different ideas |D

Well, I TRIED capturing HER attitude, but it was kind've hard, considering I don't really KNOW the character, if you get my drift...Hint, hint.

You're very welcome!
I'm glad you like it, even if I'm not a hundred percent pleased with it. But then again, I think it's impossible to be a hundred percent pleased with my pictures. :)
I've been having the same problem. If I can't decide on the right pose, then the picture will never get done. Although when this happens to me, I take a break and let inspiration come naturally. I can wait for the picture, although it will no doubt take most of my self control to do it! :D
Take your time, don't rush things, find something you're happy with. And remember, I force a deadline on no ONE! Not ever, so there really is no hurry. you're the artist, the picture will get done only when you want it done. :)
