Didn't feel like doing a background, so I just did some shading instead. I hope you can forgive me my laziness.

MUCH improved over the old one! 
(He's lost his "stretched" look.)
This shows quite a marked difference in your art from just a few years ago...your anatomy, muscle definition, and general posing has a LOT more life nowadays, it's really incredible to see the comparison with the old.
(I like the updated tattoo as well.) His hands seem a little small--and ball-like--but at least he has 'em and you kinda make up for it by giving him a full-bodied pose. (He has feet as well!) 
He's got a much stronger, compact look about him now, powerful muscles in the arms--very well done!
